Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations(RFQ) for replacing two(2) gear drives on two(2) pumps, rebuilding the two(2) pumps, drilling new 16" PVC well with 60 h.p. pump including a 14" water lube bowl and 70' X 10" X1 3/16" column(total well depth is 115' and well screen 40'), provide one(1) Duetz F6L913 Power Unit with trailer and 150 gallon tank or better and pull existing pump and plug well.l The location is Panther Swamp NWR , Yazoo City, MS. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials and expertise for the job. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 235810. The size standard is $12 Million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tenative issuance date is 5/13/04 with a 28 day closing date. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 6/28/04. The RFQ documens will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ No. 401814Q087. Paper copies WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments.
