- THIS SYNOPSIS IS ISSUED FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY! THIS IS NOT A SOLICIATION! The 50th Contracting Squadron at Schriever AFB Colorado is conducting market research looking for qualified 8(a) registered small businesses that are interested in providing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and other items necessary to perform technical security services. This includes, but is not limited to the following tasks: (1) Manage Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Physical Security Program and accreditation; (2) Maintain personnel security files; (3) Prepare classified material for shipment. Each contractor must have the technical expertise within applicable security disciplines, adhere to applicable directives, publications, handbooks, policy letters, and procedures involving security disciplines and have a valid Top Secret security clearance, a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) and must be eligible for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) to perform daily duties. A more complete description of tasks and duties will be provided with the solicitation, when issued. This procurement has a Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code of 7379 with a size standard of $21 million and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 541519. If a contract is awarded, it will be a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance from 1 October 2004 thru 30 September 2005. Option years may be available. The Government requests that all responding contractors provide capability statements on their company as well as references related to past similar performance with points of contact. A Request For Proposal will be issued on or around 7 June 2004.
