- Description
- ROOF IDIQ, ALTUS AFB, OK. A base-wide roofing, firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will be awarded from the solicitation resulting from this synopsis. The performance period will consist of one (1), 12-month Basic period with a possible four (4), 12-month Option periods. The scope of work will consist of installing standing seam metal roofs, slope metal roofs, built up roofs, rubberized rolled roofing and shingle roofs. Work will include the installation of new, repair of existing and storm damage (ice, wind, hail, etc). Incidental electrical and mechanical work involves installation of new, extension and/or relocation of new lighting, heat detectors, skylights, and the cleaning and/or repair of interior roof drains from built up roofs. THE NAICS CODE FOR THIS ACQUISITION IS 238160. The solicitation will be issued as Full and Open Competition. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The guaranteed minimum contract amount is $81,000.00 for the Base period only. The solicitation package will be issued in the form of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be made available for downloading via the Internet Electronic Posting Site, www.eps.gov on approximately 22 May 04. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE DEPT OF DEFENSE (DOD) CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF THIS, OR ANY GOVERNMENT CONTRACT. THE WEBSITE FOR REGISTRATION IS LOCATED AT WWW.EPS.GOV. OFFERORS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CCR DATABASE WILL RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. REGISTRATION REQUIRES APPLICANTS TO HAVE A DUNS NUMBER. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS REGISTER IMMEDIATELY TO ENSURE ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARD.
