- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Employee Education System (VA-EES) is seeking sources for online training for billing and patient financial services for approximately 1,200 employees. VA-EES is not seeking sources for the development of the training, but is seeking sources that have existing commercial-off-the-shelf training. This is not a solicitation for software development. VA-EES desires online training for employees that will be available through the internet to employee desktop computers that provides access to the broadest possible selection of billing and compliance related courses including a complete healthcare finance curriculum, compliance curriculum, as well as courses in basic, intermediate and special billing for both billers and physicians and a course tracking mechanism that allows supervisors and managers to evaluate staff course progress. Respondents shall reply with statements of capabilities and a listing of current and past customers of the training, and shall also state if the courses are accredited by the American Health Information Management Association or Healthcare Financial Management Association, or any other accrediting organizations.
