- Description
- The VA Puget Sound Healthcare System with campuses at Seattle and American Lake- Tacoma is soliciting for offers to provide and install Narrowband Paging Equipment in an effort to convert from wideband to narrowband operations. Both campuses contain multiple buildings. This system is identified as an emergency life safety communications system. All associated equipment, installation, and operation shall be in compliant with the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) specifications. Specified narrow band compliance for this requirement is set at 12.5 KHZ with radio frequency set at 166.225 MHZ as required by VA and Federal specifications. This equipment must be able to support a minimum of 2000 subscribers, voice and alphanumeric display paging, provide flexibility and expandability and have the capability to integrate with a variety of communication and information systems. The system must be up and operational (live) no later than November 1, 2004. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees.
