- Description
- The VA Medical Center, Asheville, North Carolina, intends to negotiate a Commercial Item sole source contract with Asheville Radiology Associates, P.O. Box 2809, Asheville, North Carolina 28802. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-21. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is to obtain Interventional Radiologist Services, both on-site and at the contractor's local facility, for eligible beneficiaries under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to award a firm, fixed-price contract for the Interventional Radiologist services. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The applicable NAICS code is 621111 and applicable size standard is $8.5M. All proposals received by 12:00 noon EST on June 11, 2004 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
