- The solicitation will not be available for distribution through the General Services Administration's Federal Business opportunities (FBO) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. An award will be for a Firm-Fixed Price purchase, One-time buy, on a "Brand name? only basis. All items described in this announcement will be awarded on an aggregate basis (All or None). This solicitation is being issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) # 074692. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 423620 and business size standard is 500 employees. The FBI intends to purchase the following: for all items--Manufacturer: BOSE, Quiet Comfort 2 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones (QC2), Quantity = 200. Standard commercial warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of the applicable products listed in the synopsis/solicitation. Delivery terms for this RFQ shall be within 30 days ARO. Ship to: Cheverly, MD 20781. FOB for this RFQ is Destination. The following FAR provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference and apply to this solicitation. FAR clauses 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (JAN 2004). Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (JAN 2004), with their offer. FAR clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (OCT 2003), and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues and Executive Orders-Commercial Items (APR 2004), along with 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (MAY 1999). Offerors quotes shall be submitted on company letterhead, along with the executed copies of the Representations and Certifications (located on the Internet at http://www.acqnet.gov/far) ) to the address listed above no later than 4:00PM local time, May 27, 2004.
