- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items under the Test Program at FAR subpart 13.5 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ) and will follow Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The United States Patent and Trademark Office intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. The solicitation number is 291P0460249, the period of performance is the date of award through June 30th, 2005 and the place of performance is the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Arlington, VA. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The purpose of this solicitation and the resultant purchase order is to establish a source for NetIQ AppManager software maintenance. The submitting vendor(s) must provide proof that you are an authorized dealer or reseller of NetIQ AppManager software. NetIQ AppManager is a software product that performs network monitoring of NT based computers. It is an integral part of the Enterprise (EMS) and has been in use at USPTO for more than 2 years. It is used by Network Operations and is relied upon heavily for monitoring all NT based computers on PTOnet. In accordance with Section 508, the USPTO required that all Electronic Information Technology (EIT), as that term is defined at FAR 52.101, delivered under the contract comply with the applicable EIT accessibility standards issued by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board set forth at 36 CFR Par 1194.
