- Description
- This solicitation is for road maintenance. Contractor will provide all equipment, labor materials, tools, supervision, including safety and other incidentals necessary to perform all road maintenance activities within the boundaries of the Savannah River Site (SRS), including all road easements, right of ways, well site, turnarounds, drainage structures or other activities similar in nature on the SRS. The work consists of routine maintenance activities normally associated with gravel and native-surfaced single and double lane roads, parking lots, soil and water restoration, facility grounds and other activities similar in nature. The resulting indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract will be a base period and four option years. The size standard for this unrestricted solicitation is $6 million under NAICS code 115310. Solicitation should be available on this web site on or about 1 Jun 2004. The solicitation is set-aside for small business. There will be a site visit held. Details will be included in the solicitation. SRS is a restricted access Government facility. A minimum of 72 hours is required to process any security badge requests for U.S. Citizens and up to 30 days could be required for non-U.S. citizens. Contractors should pay close attention to the deadlines to submit information required to gain access for site visit included in the solicitation. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent postings.
