Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, material, supplies, equipment, tools, disposal and supervision necessary to construct a 3050 gross square foot indoor firing range constructed of poured concrete, pre-cast concrete planks and concrete masonry. Area inside of building shall include an observation/class area, office for range officer, gun cleaning room, storage room, restroom, and a 84 foot, 4 point firing range with bullet trap and be suitable for firing handguns, rifles, and shotguns. The contractor shall also construct an approximate 216 gross square feet mechanical equipment building that will be constructed by structural steel framing with sheet metal siding and roofing. All work shall be performed at the Defense Supply Center Columbus, 3990 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213. The work shall be performed in strict accordance with the specifications for Project CSC-03840 and contract drawing 3-1340 subject to the terms and provisions of the contract. This project requires the use of specialized skills and equipment. Contractors submitting offers for this project shall have not less than a minimum of three (3) years of work experience in having satisfactorily performed work of the types and magnitude required by this project. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. A combined pre-proposal conference and site inspection will be held on June 10, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. local time.
