- Description
- This requirement is for a Rotator Link Assembly, Part Number 626767-1. The Rotator Link assembly is part of the Low Loss Launch Valve. The launch valve is the control mechanism for every aircraft launched from the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. The Government is looking to purchase a quantity of 56 each, with No option. The delivery is FOB destination to Lakehurst, NJ 34 weeks after date of contract, with best commercial packaging and packing. Final inspection and acceptance by the Government will be at source. The specifications for the Rotator Link are subject to Export Control regulations and will only be released to firms who are certified with the DLSC for receipt of Military Critical Technical Data. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst plans to issue SOLICITATION NUMBER N68335-04-T-0048 on or about approximately 5/21/ 2004. The solicitation document will appear on the NAVAIR home page www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/. However, the specifications will be mailed separately to certified requestors. No drawings will be posted on the Navair home page. This solicitation is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. It is requested that all interested parties submit a current completed and certified DD Form 2345 (Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement) to NAWCADLKE Contracting Office. Higher Level Contract Quality Requirements apply. Contractors must be CCR registered.
