Description

The work to be performed consists of the following: modifying the existing septic tank, placing a new 1000 gallon prefabricated tank to be used as a wet well/pumping tank, providing specified pumps, floats and controls, connecting the existing tank to the new tank and abandoning the existing drain field, constructing two new 450 square foot drain fields and associated PVC pipe, connecting the new wet well to the new drain field with 2 inch PVC pipe and valves as shown, backfilling about the old septic tank, new wet well and drain field, and re-grading the disturbed project site. The work must be completed within 60 days from Receipt of Notice To Proceed. The Request For Quotation (RFQ) package will be available on or around May 26, 2004, and quotes are tentatively due in the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, 316 North 26th Street, Billings MT 59101 on or before Close of Business (COB) June 16, 2004. The estimated price range of this acquisition is $25,000 to $100,000. There is no charge for the first copy of this solicitation, and additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each set. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This acquisition is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System code is 238910. The Small Business Size Standard is $12 million. This specifications and drawings will be not posted to the internet; however a complete solicitation package is available in hard copy. To request a hard copy of the solicitation, contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart BlackEagle. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number. Note: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Contractors may register at http://www/ccr/gov.
