- Tobyhanna Army Depot intends to negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302?1 with Comtech Systems, Inc. 2900 Titan Row, Orlando, FL 32809 to provide two each Transit Case Troposcatter Modem sets, part number P-0457, FOB Destination , delivery within 120 days of award. The P-0457 modem set replaces the 4.6 Mb bandwidth DAR modem in the AN/TRC-170 Radio Terminal Test. The P-0457 has a 4 E1 (8 Mb (MegaBytes)) capacity and has been designed to be a plug and play replacement. The P-0457 s et includes the Comtech S-575 modem, rubidium clock, dual power supplies, interface for TRC-170 orderwire, fan tray, 4 E1 to fiber multiplexor, IF interface modules, transit case with removable frame, cables and connectors, installation and operating docum ents. Drawings, specifications, or other technical data are not available and will not be furnished. Data is proprietary to Comtech. See note 22.
