- Amendment #5 to the IFB has been issued to provide clarification on the bid schedule. Its text follows: RE: NEW YORK STATE AIR NATIONAL GUARD 106th RESCUE WING, GABRESKI AIRPORT REPAIR OF ENGINE SHOP/HELICPOTER MAINTENANCE FACILITY AND WEAPONS SHOP ADDITION 150 RIVERHEAD ROAD, BUILDING 395 WESTHAMPTON, NEW YORK 11978-1201 ANG PROJECT NO. WKVB972008 Questions & Responses 5/11/04 Questions 1. Please confirm deletion of exterior panel replacement does not affect all other exterior wall work, namely all new overhead and man doors are still required. Correct. 2. Will the existing gutter and leader system remain under deduct no. 3? Yes. 3. In keeping with the cumulative bid deduct schedule and notes on drawing no. A21, should bid schedule read as follows? Deduct Bid Item No. 2 Delete 5 new hanger doors??????. (Pods #1-5) Add reskin 5 existing doors?????? (Pods #1-5) Deduct Bid Item No. 4 Delete new hanger door??????. (Pod #6) Add reskin existing hanger door?????? (Pod #6) Revise specification section 01230 subsection 3.01B and Alternate Bid Item (ABI) #2 on drawing no. A21 to read as follows: Alternate Bid Item No. 2: Delete the full demolition of the existing front hanger doors and overhangs in hanger pods #1 through #5. Removal of the existing exterior metal panels, motors, cables, belts and drive mechanisms shall stay in the contract. The ha nger door and overhang structure will not be demolished. Delete the new hanger doors and the pre-engineered metal building system between the existing building structure and the new hanger doors. Add the installation of new exterior metal panels, motors, cables, belts and drive mechanisms to the existing hanger door structure and new exterior metal wall panels on the existing overhang and front of building for hanger pods #1 through #5. New electri cal distribution to the new motors shall remain in the contract. Refer to the drawings and specification sections 02220, 02315, 02750, 03310, 05500, 07410, 08150, 08370, 09910, and division 16.
