- Description
- The Army requires a service contract for Mortuary Services located at Fort Stewart, Georgia. The services required consist of care and handling of deceased personnel. It encompasses professional services and requirements, caskets and shipping cases , transportation and hygienic practices, crematory procedures, and urns. Specifications are applicable to Regular and Port of Entry Requirements. Area of performance shall be an area 50 nautical miles from Fort Stewart, Georgia. This requirement will in clude a Base Year with three (3) additional one-year option periods. Performance period will commence on or about 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005 for the base year. An inspection of Funeral Homes will be conducted by the Government prior to aw ard. This requirement is solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS Code 812210. The size standard is $5 million. The magnitude of this requirement is between $250,000 - $500,000. This solicitation will be posted on the Internet only. No hard c opies will be available.
