Description
WY PRA-GRTE 100(1), 209(1), 225(1), MOOSE-WILSON ROAD, LAKE CREEK BRIDGE; CLIMBER?S RANCH ROAD, COTTONWOOD CREEK BRIDGE; LUPINE MEADOW ROAD, COTTONWOOD CREEK BRIDGE, located in Grand Teton National Park, Teton County, Wyoming. THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED FOR FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. THE WORK CONSISTS OF 0.07 miles, 0.07 miles, and 0.07 miles, respectively, of removing two existing bridges; removing and disassembling one temporary bridge; constructing three new steel-stringer bridges with timber curbing and decking, two on spread footings and one on steel piling; reconstructing paved approaches (borrow, aggregate base and asphalt concrete) at each location. THE PROJECT INCLUDES construction survey and staking; contractor sampling and testing; construction schedules; turbidity monitoring; 1,320 lnft silt fence; 300 lnft stream diversion; 3,450 sqyd clearing and grubbing; 350 sqyd additional clearing and grubbing; 2 ea removal of permanent bridges; 1 removal of temporary bridge; 570 cuyd roadway excavation; 170 tons select borrow; 160 sqyd earthwork geotextiles; 749 cuyd structure excavation; 17 cuyd permeable backfill; 2,350 tons riprap; 960 tons minor crushed aggregate; 302 tons minor hot asphalt concrete; 510 lnft driven piles; 169.5 cuyd structural concrete; 17,851 lbs reinforcing steel; 103,072 lbs steel structures; 30.80 MFBM timber structures; 285 lnft new chain link fence; 280 lnft removal and reset fence; 1,510 sqyd topsoil; 1510 sqyd seeding; 1,510 sqyd mulching; permanent traffic control devices: 57.3 sqft sign installation; 12 ea object markers, type 3; 12 ea delineators; 2,320 lnft permanent pavement markings, type B, solid white; temporary traffic control devices: 17 ea barricades, type III; 53 ea cone, tubular; 182.8 sqft construction sign; 17 ea warning light, type A; 185 flagger hours; roadside development: 14 ea large wood debris; 78 cuyd streambed material; and other smaller items of work. PROJECT IS LOCATED approximately 15 to 18 miles North of Jackson, Wyoming. Work shall be completed by June 30, 2005. Estimated PRICE RANGE is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT?s Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 with interest at prime rate, as published daily in the Wall Street Journal, plus 1.75 percent.
