- Description
- This is a notice of intent to negotiate a 31-day extension to Purchase Order Number SB1341-04-W-0817 with Elsevier BV for subscription access to publications on Elsevier's ScienceDirect. The authority for this sole source procurement is Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996. The sole source extension to the aforementioned purchase order is necessary in order to allow the Government more time to finalize negotiations with Elsevier BV on a new purchase order for access to ScienceDirect that was initially planned to start on May 16, 2004. This notice of intent is not a request for offers. Notice for the new procurement that was initially planned to be awarded with a start date of May 16, 2004 was synopsized in www.fedbizopps.gov on April 8, 2004.
