- Description
- Removal of debris, cobble and sand deposition, installation of rock riprap, wire mesh gabions and mattressess and in-stream structures for the purpose of stablization of stream banks to both public and private works of improvement, installation of slope stabilization measures to protect roads and dwellings and the installation of trash guards to protect structures. There are utilities and residences adjacent to most sites. Access and traffic control will be a concern during construction. Other items of concern are damage to known and unknown utilities, possible high flow events and safety during non-construction hours when worksites may be open, creating hazards to people and vehicular traffic. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE NOTICE TO PROCEED WILL BE ISSUED BETWEEN JULY 12 TO JULY 16, 2004 AND ALL WORK MUST BE COMPLETED BY SEPTEMBER 30, 2004. The estimated price range is $500,000 to $999,999. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE FEDBIZOPPS WEBSITE May 26, 2004 and the bid opening will be held June 17, 2004.
