Description

The proposed projects are located in the Bullfrog Springs drainage. Road 6210 crossing requires replacing the existing culvert with a permeable low water crossing for approximately 30 meters to distribute flows throughout crossing. The total project length is 85 meters. The estimated quantities are approximately 297 cm crushed aggregate subbase, 82 cm crushed aggregate base, 353-sm geotextile fabric. Excavated material to be hauled about ? mile away. Road 9732-300 will require building a permeable low water crossing for approximately 10 meters to permit water passage and sustain vehicle traffic. The total project length is 47 meters. The estimated quantities are approximately 104 cm crushed aggregate subbase; 26 cm crushed aggregate base, and 167-sm geotextile fabric. Excavated material to be hauled about one-fourth mile away. The project can be reached from Klamath Falls by traveling north on Highway 97 approximately 25 miles to Crater Lake Highway 62. On Highway 62 go in a northerly direction approximately 5 miles to forest road 6210. Continue approximately 2 miles on road 6210 to the project site. From there go approximately 300 feet to the site on 9732-300. This is a small business set-aside. The Government's estimate is $25,000 to $50,000. Expected issue date is May 26, 2004.
