- Description
- The Forest Service intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Yavapai-Apache Nation for an Overview and Assessment for Apache and Yavapai Ethnohistorical Resources within the Payson Ranger District, Tonto National Forest. The Yavapai-Apache Nation Cultural and Historic Preservation Department is uniquely qualified to perform these services and is the only source the utilizes native Apache speakers who are experienced in the recovery of Apache and Yavapai oral history which is critical in capturing the oral traditions and histories from Apcache and Yavapai elders. This notice is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for quotes or offers.
