- Description
- Anticipated Issue Date: 9 February 2004. The Defense Commissary Agency has a requirement for Linen/Mat Rental/Cleaning/Exchange Services at the Barbers Point, Hickam, Kaneohe Bay, Pearl Harbor and Schofield Commissaries located in Hawaii. The items to be acquired under this Request for Quotation (RFQ) include butcher coats, pants and bib aprons, colored smocks, vests and tunics, and various sizes of floor mats. Quantities of each item will be identified in the RFQ. The contractor shall be required to provide the items in a variety of sizes. The contractor shall be required to pick up from the commissary a minimum of once each week all soiled garments and mats, and drop off clean replacement garments and mats at the same time. The period of performance for the four commissaries will be 1 April 2004 through 31 March 2005 and the Barbers Point Commissary will be 1 July 2004 through 31 March 2005, and includes four one-year options. The NAICS code is 812332 and the business size standard is $12 million. This acquisition is being issued as unrestricted. This RFQ will be available on www.fedbizopps.gov under (ODA Other Defense Agencies). Potential Offerors are encouraged to use this web site to obtain a copy of the RFQ in lieu of requesting a paper copy. Request for paper copies must be in writing and mailed to Defense Commissary Agency, Attn: CBU CICDS (Luz Rayel), 1300 E. Avenue, Fort Lee, VA 23801-1800, emailed to luz.rayel@deca.mil or faxed at 804-734-8669. All written requests must include the RFQ number, requestor's name, address, phone, fax number and email. By submitting an offer the offeror acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database prior to award of any contract or purchase order. Information about CCR registration maybe found at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration.
