- The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a sole source modification to contract N00024-03-C-6200 with Kollmorgen Corporation, Electro-Optical Division, 347 King Street, Northampton, MA 01060-2390, for up to four (4) SSGN options to produce Universal Modualar Mast (UMM) systems configured for the Photonics Mast Variant (PMV). Kollmorgen is the designer, developer and manufacturer of the UMM and the Photonics Mast Program (PMP) and as such is the only source with the requisite knowledge and technical experience to provide the PMV configured UMM design and development. Kollmorgen can complete this work in a timely and cost-efficient manner. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described here, nor will any other supplies satisfy the Navy?s requirements.
