- Description
- This project is designed to reduce the density of an overstocked, second growth mixed conifer forest stands six inches to twenty inches in diameter at breast height and to recover materials which result from this density reduction. The work will include: cutting to a silvicultural prescription using a mechanical harvester; yarding cut material to approved landings using designated types of equipment; bucking, delimbing, and sorting the yarded material in coordination with the Purchaser of the Matchbox Timber Sale. NAICS Code: 115310. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is May 25, 2004. Estimated start work date is July 1, 2004.
