- Description
- The Army Contracting Agency, White Sands Missile Range, Directorate of Contracting intends to solicit for Environmental Services at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. Taskings may fall within the general areas of Regulatory Compliance (environme ntal) at both the State and Federal levels, Pollution Prevention, Control, and Treatment, Emergency and Routine Response to Environmental Contamination Incidents, Environmental Restoration and Cleanup, Hazardous Waste Management and Handling, Natural Resou rces Management Support Services, Cultural Resources Management Support Services, Environmental Sampling, to include collection, tracking and analysis, Environmental database management, to include spatial data, Maintenance of an Administrative Record and Environmental Assessment and other Technologies. Award will be made prior to 1 Sep 2004 with a 30-day phase-in period; full performance to begin 1 Oct 2004. Payments for these services will be made by VISA. An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID IQ) Task Order contract will be awarded. Task orders may be issued on a fixed price, cost-reimbursable or time-and -materials basis or a combination thereof. The contract will be for a five-year performance period. This is 100% 8(a) set-aside. Since th e performance of this contract involves multiple NAICS codes it has been classified under NAICS code 561210 with a small business size standard of $30 million. This requirement is being solicited using the multi-step procedures found at Federal Acquisitio n Regulation 15.202. This notice shall be considered Phase I of the selection and award process. An explanation of this process and the information you need to submit in response to this synopsis are located on our webpage at http://www.wsmr.army.mil/doc page/pages/sol_stat.htm. The submissions of the first step must be submitted by 2:00 PM MST on 20 May 2004. Submissions must be made electronically to viamj@wsmr.army.mil. Documents must be in a format that can be read by Microsoft Office 2000 components or Adobe Reader. The Government does not intend to award a contract based solely on the submission to this request, nor does it intend to pay for any costs incurred as a result of this announcement.
