Description

Contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary for construction of the project entitled ?Renovate Space for Specialty Care Expansion? at the VA Medical Center, VA Iowa City Healthcare System, Iowa City, Iowa, in accordance with the developed plans and specifications. Work includes but is not limited to, demolition and removal of existing structures, installation of new walls, soffits, acoustic ceiling grids and flooring to convert the existing office areas into specialty exam rooms; modifications of existing utilities and installation of new electrical and mechanical systems to serve the exam rooms. Cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. NAICS Code 236220 with a size standard of 28.5 million apples to this procurement. This procurement is 100% HUB Zone small businesses set aside and evidence of HUB Zone certification must be submitted with bids. Electronic solicitation documents to include Invitation for Bid, Contract Forms, specifications and drawings will be available in electronic format only through the VA?s website at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov or Fed Biz Opps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation material will also be provided to the following sources where paper copies may be reviewed or obtained for a fee: Construction Update Plan Room, P.O.
