Description

The U.S. Census Bureau has a requirement for vending food sales at its telephone center located in Hagerstown, Maryland (HTC). Vending machine placements will include selections for cold bottled drinks, snacks and cold food. This solicitation is being competed full and open; however, if the Maryland Services for the Blind submits a proposal that is within the competitive range, the award will be made to the them under the provisions of the Randolph-Sheppard Act. The purpose of this effort is to provide employees of the HTC high quality food services. The facility has approximately 140 employees. This is a firm fixed price requirement and will be issued under FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Period of performance for the base period shall be one year from the date of award. There will be four (4) one-year options. Submit requests in writing to receive a copy of the solicitation to the address included in this announcement or fax the request to 812-218-3937. All requests must include the solicitation number and marked to the attention of Gordon Randall. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 454210 with a size standard of $6.0 million. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
