- St. Joe Ranger District/Avery Office, Shoshone County, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation R1-04-04-47 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-23. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 336999. A quotation is requested for one (1) line item. LINE ITEM 1: SIX-WHEEL-DRIVE (6WD) ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE, delivered to the St. Joe Ranger District/Avery Office, brand name or equivalent specifications of a Polaris Sportsman 6 X 6. Vehicle shall include a Warn 2,500 pound winch as well as a 60-inch plow blade. DO NOT want a side-by-side two (2) passenger configuration. Unit must have 4-stroke engine, liquid cooling system, electric starter system with recoil backup, shaft/chain final drive, automatic PVT drive system with R/N/L/H transmission, front and rear hydraulic brakes, maximum 900 pounds dry weight without installed blade or winch, minimum 4-gallon fuel tank, front and rear racks, 1500 pounds towing capacity, standard speedometer and odometer, tripmeter, hourmeter, lighting with low-beam/high-beam capability. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. One contract award will be offered to the best value offer made to the Government, considering price and technical specifications. The Government reserves the right to reject all offers. Offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. Offers must be received by May 26, 2004, at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time at the Idaho Panhandle National Forests Supervisor?s Office, ATTN: Acquisition Management, 3815 Schreiber Way, Coeur dAlene, ID 83815-8363.
