- Description
- This is a total small business HUBZone set-aside procurement, for the Drydock and Repair of USCGC MAPLE, a 225 ft buoy tender, home moorage of Sitka, AK. Work will be accomplished during the period of 6 Oct through 30 Nov 2004, at a facility capable of drydocking the cutter. Work items include, but are not limited to the following; Modify weatherdeck fuel vents, forecastle improvement, propulsion shaft seal mechanical overhaul, controllable pitch propeller system maintenance, ship service diesel generator exhaust stack uptake commercial clean, sea strainers overhaul, hydraulic chain inhaul winch level 2 inspect and repair, hydraulic chainstopprs level 2 inspect and repair, hydraulic crossdeck winches level 2 inspect and repair, mechanical chain stoppers level 2 inspect and repair, anchor windlass overhaul, buoy & cargo crane level 2 inspect and repair, drydocking and temporary services. A RFP (request for proposal) will be issued on or about 25 May 2004. The solicitation, specifications and notifications will be posted on the web at: www.eps.gov. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing, in the form of lines of credit, to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
