- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Buffalo, NY, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is in accordance with a Statement of Work that describes the requirement for evaluation and repair of ten (10) each, government-owned Bell Gravity Meter (BGM-5) sensors. The repair work, to be performed at the contractor?s facility, requires the use of components, drawings, and technology that are proprietary to Lockheed Martin Corporation. A three (3) year, Time & Materials (T&M), indefinite delivery, requirements type (task order) contract to begin upon date of award, is anticipated. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 15. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted via e-mail to the designated Contract Specialist. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
