- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a non-competitive basis with Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training and Support, Orlando, FL for support services (including maintenance) for the High Power Device Test Set (HPDTS) portion of government owned Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) testers for a period of two months (August/September 2004). Currently under the CASS Consolidated Service Program (CSP) Basic Agreement, N68335-00-H-0103, with Lockheed Martin the Government has pricing valid until July 2004. This new effort will allow the Government to issue contracts/purchase orders for the two-month period utilizing the current pricing. This will allow continued support the HPDTSs without any break in service. The requirements are for maintenance services for HPDTS CASS testers located throughout the world (both domestic and foreign). The government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The government does not own data, drawings, software code or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-00-H-0103 HPDTS. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Navy anticipates the awards to be firm fixed price contracts. No solicitations will be available for this procurement
