This Request for Quotations (RFQ) listed under Solicitation No. W912P8-04-T-0063 contains two contract line items. One for the basic period: date of contract award through 31 May 2005 and second line item is the option year of 1 June 2005 through 31 May 2006. Provide and deliver medium grit black blasting sand on an ??????on call, as required basis?????? in specified quantiti es and to location(s) within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District area of coverage, as identified in written task orders. Estimated quantity for the requirements contract is 1000 tons basic year and 500 tons for the option year. Option year is not guaranteed and subject to Government??????s unilateral decision. (Note: Government currently has a task order pending award for estimated quantity of 700 tons to be delivered in quantities of 24 tons to Port Allen Lock, Louisiana). Offeror shall provide price per ton for the material and a price per ton for the freight for the basic year and the option year contract line items. Contractor shall comply with all applicable sections of Safety and Health Requirements EM 385-1-1 dated 3 Nov 2003 http://www.hq.usace.army.mil/soh/em385/current/current38511.htm .
