- Presolicitation Notice Date Submitted: 07 May 2004 OC-ALC/LPKBB DIR CONTRACTING/PROPULSION 3001 STAFF DR STE 1AC1/112A TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032. BRACKET, Mounting, SPEC SOL FA8104-04-R-0242. Item 0001 & 0002 & 0003. NSN: 5340-01-396-5661, P/N: 4081286. Item Description: The Bracket is used to mount on 7th stage Compressor Case fwd mounting flange and stabilizes fwd end of RCVV Arm. Dimensions are as follows: 6 inch long x 4 inch wide x ? inch thick. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Titanium Alloy. Applicable to: F100/200/220 Engine. Destination: Tinker AFB, OK Delivery: 489 ea March 2005. Qty Range: 245/489/734 New Material Solicited. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 21 May 2004. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 21 June 2004. The anticipated award date will be 28 July 2004. First Article Test Required. No telephone requests. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be sent from this office. The solicitation will be available for download only at www.fedbizops.com. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
