Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female Federal offenders in the vicinity of Wheeling, West Virginia or within a twenty mile radius (Effected counties may include: Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel, and Monogalia counties in West Virginia; Belmont, Harrison, Guernsey, Jefferson, and Tuscarawas counties in Ohio; Greene, Somerset, and Washington counties in Pennsylvania) area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, ?Community Corrections Center, dated August 2000, amended through October 2003.? This is An indefinite quantity type contract with a one year base period and four-one year option years is anticipated. The minimum number of inmate days for the base period and option year one are 2,920 (2,190 males/730 females); for option year two 2,928 (2,196 males/732 females); for option years three and four 2,920 (2,190 males/730 females), and the maximum number of inmate days for the base period, and for option year one are 5,475 (3,650 males/1,825 females); for option year two 5,490 (3,660 males/1,830 females); for option years three and four 5,475 (3,650 males/1,825 females), respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about July 9, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP200-0827-MA will be on or about September 7, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for solicitation will be accepted.
