Description
The Bureau of Prisons is seeking a Request for Quote from sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment and counseling for Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment and Mental Health services in Winchester, Virginia in the vicinity of Clarke/Frederick/Winchester Pre-Release Center, located at 141 Collier Road, Winchester, Virginia 22603; for the drug abuse treatment services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on October 1, 2004 with four (4) one year option periods, with services ending (if all option years are renewed) on September 30, 2009. The services required for this contract: Base Period, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, and Option Year Four, respectively: Estimated Number of Inmates 20. (20) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 12 Individual units x 20 inmates = 240 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 48 Group Units x 20 inmates = 960 total units; (5) Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (5 of the 20 may need assessments). (20) Medication Monitoring (one per inmate). The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Community Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work, dated January 2004. The estimated closing date is o/a June 17, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this Agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. RFQ 200-010-4-MA will be posted o/a May 17, 2004.
