Description
Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, supervision and materials to perform all work required for the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract at Luke AFB, Gila Bend AFAF, and Ft. Tuthill, AZ. This acquisition will be for a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for construction work on real property facilities. Each construction project will be awarded by issuing individual task orders against the basic contract on an as needed basis. Projects will be in support of real property maintenance, repair, alteration and new construction. It is anticipated that this contract may be used for renovations, new facilities, additions, roofing, paving, and related construction work. The contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to estimate, plan, provide minimum design and project management. Individual jobs will vary in magnitude (generally $2,000.00 to $100,000.). The jobs will involve a variety of trades to include, but not limited to: carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, electrical, steam fitting, plumbing, sheet metal, painting, demolition, concrete, masonry, welding, HVAC, asbestos removal, etc. The duration of the base period will be 1 year and 4 one-year option periods. The guaranteed minimum amount for the life of the contract is $200,000.00 and the maximum amount for the life of the contract is estimated at $5,000,000.00. The proposed procurement is set-aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) contractors with experience relative to NAICS Code 236220. All other offerors are deemed ineligible to submit offers. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 5 April on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedbizzOpps) website at www.eps.gov. Paper Copies are not available.
