- The purpose of this announcement is to modify the pre-solicitation synopsis for solicitation N66001-04-R-0047. The RV Acoustic Explorer is not considered to be a USCG uninspected vessel rated for oceans. The RV Acoustic Explorer is designated as USNS8801. Vessel tonnage is 197 tons. Additional information will be available in the solicitation, which will also explain procedures to request a site visit.
