- Description
- The Fleet Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire a design with the option to supply (one each) a Friction Stir Processing Attachment on a full and open competition basis in support of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Detachment - Naval Foundry Propeller Center, Philadelphia, PA 19112. Deliverables (drawings) are due 270 days ADO. A Firm Fixed Price-type contract is contemplated. A site visit provision will be included in the solicitation. The RFP will be evaluated on a best value basis with technical being more than price. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit proposals for consideration of the Government. It is the intention of the Navy to issue this RFP through electronic means only. This RFP shall be available upon issuance at http://www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333515.
