Description
This Sources Sought Notice is seeking Architect-Engineering firms who are small businesses and designated as small businesses, disadvantaged, Section 8(a), woman-owned, HubZone or Veteran-owned firms for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore Di strict. A Market Survey is being conducted to determine the sizes and types of businesses eligible and capable of satisfying this agencys potential requirements for possible civil works projects. The requirements could be for services to include the prepa ration of feasibility studies, surveys, drawings and specifications for Civil Works projects for both planning and engineering needs in accordance with the Brooks Act. Disciplines required include planners, environmentalists, cultural experts, economists, engineers, surveyors, cost estimators, specification writers, and CADD operators The potential work could be performed to support the North Atlantic Division and the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division of the US Army Corps of Engineers. Type of contacts b eing considered could be Indefinite Delivery (IDC) in nature. Interested firms shall submit a two-page narrative demonstrating their experience in the Architect-Engineering Civil Works arena for the last 3 years. The NAICS code for this requirement is 5413 30. This is not a Request for Proposal nor is it a request for placement on a solicitation mailing list. Responses are required within fourteen (14) days after publication of this notice or no later than 21 May 2004. Responses should be addressed to the U S Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, PO Box 1715, Room 7000, Baltimore, MD 21203-1715, attn: Susan Sonenthal. Mrs. Sonenthal can be reached at 410-962-7646. Firms interested shall provide 2 copies. Responses should be a 2-page narrative describ ing the type of work already performed to include the Using Agency??????s point of contact and telephone number. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market survey nor return the data provided. The result of this surv ey will be considered effective for a period of one year from the date of this notice.
