Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with AudioCare Systems Inc. Malvern, PA to upgrade the existing MUMPS interactive telephony systems and to provide the software license, annual support, maintenance and system enhancements for systems located at various facilities located throughout VISN 12. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302 - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS 511210. To the best of our knowledge, due to proprietary software and existing hardware, AudioCare Systems Inc. is the only vendor who is authorized to provide the upgrade. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within (seven) 7 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC-GLAC, Building 5, 5000 W. National Ave. Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with AudioCare Systems, Inc.
