Description

The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York at Albany, NY is seeking to contract with a local practice group who have qualifications, experience and expertise in providing quality Retinal Specialist Physician services to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs at the VA Medical Center. The Contractor shall provide an eight-hour retina clinic each week and 24/7 coverage for retinal emergencies. All surgeries will be performed at the VA Medical Center facility. The Contractor will also provide for retinal teaching for ophthalmology residents. The term of the proposed contract shall be for the period July 1, 2004 (or date of contract award) through June 30, 2005 with 2 one-year renewal options. The proposed contract will be a firm-fixed price contract.
