- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to award a sole source purchase order to the International Association of Snowmobile Administrators (IASA) to update and adapt a Snowmobile Safety Certification CD-Rom and post it on a website for nationwide application. The (IASA) is non-profit organization that is comprised of officials responsible for administrating Federal, State, Provincial, or Territorial snowmobile programs. It is essential for FHWA to support the development of this CD-Rom. IASA is the only organization that exists representing snowmobile administrators, and provides accurate information collected from various States and Provinces in reference to snowmobile safety. No other known source can provide the required service. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about May 20th, 2004.
