- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to remove two landslides from road 8400-629 at Klu Bay, Southeast Alaska. The 8400-629 road system can be accessed only by sea plane or boat. The only improvement at the start of the road system is a ramp for the loading and unloading of equipment. Currently the road is blocked by two slides one kilometer from the access ramp. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $25,000 and $100,000. The performance period is 30 calendar days. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps website on or about May 20, 2004 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to download the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation KTN-04-56. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 21 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select Register to Receive Notification and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting View List of Interested Vendors for each project.
