CHANGE TO WAGE DETERMINATION INFORMATION. MUST REQUEST A COPY OF THE WAGE DETERMINATION. IT CANNOT BE UPLOADED INTO FEDBIZOPS SYSTEM. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco (Brunswick), GA, has a requirement for the remove of old and installation of new classroom equipment in seventeen (17) rooms in Bldg 261. The new equipment per room consists of: Sharp Model PG-C45X Digital Multimedia Projector (1); Chief Model RPA-080 Inverted Ceiling Mount for Sharp PG-C45X (1); Pioneer Model V7400 DVD Player (1); AMX Model VPT-CD Panja Touchpanel (1); AMX Model VPA-DS Docking System (1); Extron Model 60-340-01 7SC Switcher (1); Altinex Model DA1910SX Analog Computer Interface (1); AMX Model Axcent 3 Integrated Access Controller (1); AMX Model AXR-RF Receiver for Axcent 3; AMX Axcent 3 Power Supply (1), Interlink Model VP4810 Remote Point Cordless Mouse (1); and, MAP Shelf for V7400 DVD Player (1). Statement of work for building 261: Contractor shall be working in 17 classrooms (all of which are the same design and presently have the same equipment) of building 261. Installation shall be coordinated with FLETC/TSB, and can probably be done 2-3 rooms at a time. This work shall be scheduled so as to avoid interference with ongoing training in classrooms. This means there may be a span of 2 to 6 weeks between room availability for install. Existing Sharp NV2 LCD Projector, mount and Sharp controls shall be removed and turned over to the Government. Equipment listed elsewhere in this order shall be installed in existing equipment rack in each room. Panja and related equipment shall be programmed. The podium in each classroom shall be moved/set up at the equipment rack. New Sharp PG-45X LCD projector and Chief RPA-080 mount shall be installed at the present position of the projector?s that were removed. The Government will provide a Dell computer to each room that the Panja system will operate. Once install is complete each room should have a redundant system; the existing controls that are already in the equipment rack and the new Panja system will be electronically tied together during this installation. All equipment will operate properly and interact with all other related equipment, including the computer. The job will be complete upon successful demonstration of the system in each room to the TSB Branch Chief, Rick Hazzard. The work shall include removing any unused cables not necessary for the operation of the new system configuration; it shall also include installation of new cable as required, new cable plugs, and other supplies necessary to ensure the system is fully functional. Any removed cables that can be reused without degradation of the signal may be reused. The Government shall supply new cable and plugs as required and requested by the vendor. All removed cables that are not reused, shall be returned to the government as will deinstalled plugs and equipment. The Government will provide any programming information for the Panja units at the vendor's request; however, that data is not guaranteed to be of any use in the programming of the new system. The Government will provide a "template" of the touchpanel layout for the Panja to be used in each room to ensure consistency from room to room. It is recommended that one room be completed and accepted as a prototype prior to beginning work on the remaining sixteen (16) rooms. The Government will make available a technician to answer technical questions regarding the installation in the prototype room. All cables shall be clearly marked at both ends with information that will allow the components to be removed and reinstalled without tracing wiring, i.e., DVD audio in, DVD audio out, etc. Cables shall be arranged neatly and bundled to avoid a safety hazard. Sufficient cable shall be allowed at termination points to allow work, repairs, etc. to be accomplished easily without unplugging cabling/wiring. FAR Clause 52.212-01, 52.212-03 which must be completed and returned with the quotation, 52.212-04, and 52.212-05 with subparagraphs (b)(5)(i), (b)(13) thru (18), (b)(29), (c)(41), and (c)(42) are applicable. The information required by (c)(42) is as follows: Electronic Technician III, $17.93. Wage Determination No. 1994-2115, Rev. 30, dated 06/26/2003 is applicable and should be downloaded from www.eps.gov website. The wage specified for Electronic Technician III is $20.37.
