Description
This synopsis is being REISSUED to notify interested sources that the proposed contracting action will consist of a one year base period and 4 one year option periods. This notice also corrects the Solicitation Number FROM 04-R-0006 TO CSOSA-04-R-0006. In addition, interested sources are notified the projected RFP issuance date has been revised (in the following text). The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA), a new federal Agency, has a requirement for a Faith-Based Institution to provide Faith Based Offender Reintegration Coordination Services on a contractual basis. The Contractor shall take lead responsibilities for a cluster (or area) in the District of Columbia consisting of two to four wards of the city. The Contractor shall be working through a Cluster Coordination Council and shall provide the Government with reintegration services for offenders that are available from the faith community within the District of Columbia. A Request for Proposal will be issued on or about May 14, 2004. Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements for these services must fax a letter of interest by no later than May 12, 2004 to (202)220-5711. The letter must include a point of contact, mailing address, telephone and facsimile number(s) and an e-mail address. All information furnished shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Telephone inquiries will be not be accepted.
