- Description
- This is a combination Market Survey and Pre-Solicitation Notice. The purpose of the Market Survey is to determine if there are a sufficient number of capable vendors available to provide the services described. The intent of the future solicitation and any resultant contract will be to obtain the services of mobile catering units to provide breakfasts, lunches, sack lunches, dinners, hot or cold can meals, and supplemental food items at various field locations during wildland fire suppression efforts and other types of Government activities throughout the contiguous Western United States and Alaska. For Alaska, the mobile catering services will include the preparation of Fresh Food Boxes. Resultant contracts will be available for use by the USDA Forest Service, US Park Service, US Fish & Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, and other cooperating Federal and State Agencies, hereinafter referred to as the Government. The actual date that the solicitation will be issued is not known at this time, however, it is anticipated that issuance will occur during fall 2003. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED A COMPLETED MARKET SURVEY, YOU DO NOT NEED TO RE-SUBMIT ANOTHER MARKET SURVEY, SUBMISSION OF A COMPLETED MARKET SURVEY IS NOT A REQUIREMENT. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-JAN-2004).
