Description

The Naval Air System Command has an existing indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS), Technical Engineering Support Services (TESS) for the USMC KC-130J. Lockheed Martin Corporation is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the KC-130J aircraft and has retained all ?J? peculiar proprietary data and software rights for the aircraft variant. The CLS and TESS are needed to maintain an initial complement of thirteen (13) KC-130J at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina with the potential to support up to thirty (38) aircraft at two sites: MCAS Miramar, California, U.S.A; and MCAS Okinawa/Iwakuni, Japan. The Navy intends to modify the contract ceiling due to an increase in aircraft and to a higher than anticipated tempo of operations. The modification will affect the contracts base period and all option periods on contract N00019-04-D-0001.
