- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, and labor necessary to perform Annual Testing, Inspection & Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems services at Fort Hood, Texas. Parties should be aware that this acquis ition will require special individual certifications: Fire Protection System Technicians shall be certified by the National Association of Certified Engineering Technicians (NICET) or Fire Protection System Manufacture and have a minimum of two years exper ience. All contractor personnel testing and certifying backflow prevention assemblies shall hold a current Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester accreditation issued by the 44 Texas administration Code (TAC) Part 1, Chapter 290, Public Drinking Water, Subch apter D, Rules & Regulation for Public Water systems, Rule 290. All contractor personnel working with electrical systems shall hold a Fire Protection Electrician Certification. Solicitation No. W9126G-04-R-0022 will be issued as an Invitation for Bids; on or about 17 May 2004 with Sealed Bids due on or about 16 June 2004 at 2:00 PM. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The terms of the contract will be Firm Fi xed Price and will consist of a one-year base period and four one-year renewal options IDIQ contract for Services. There will be a Pre-proposal Conference to be held on or about June 2, 2004 at Fort Hood, time and specific details will be mention in the s olicitation. The Government intends to issue this solicitation and all amendments through the use of the Internet. No additional media (CD ROMS, Floppy Disks, Faxes, or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary. Contr actors may view/download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: http://ebs.swf.usace.army.mil. All offeror??????s are required to check the Fort Worth District Contracting Divi sion website daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. This solicitation will be 100% set-aside for 8(a) in the State of Texas. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 238220, Plumbin g, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, which correspond to SIC Code 1711.
