- Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) intends to award a sole-source requirements type contract to Doble Engineering Co., 85 Walnut Street, Watertown, MA 02172, for a performance period of one (1) year. Authority for other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.301-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12. The requirement is for the lease of electrical power-factor insulation test equipment and services. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all interest and capability statements received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334515; Size Standard is 500 employees. Questions concerning this sole-source procurement may be directed to Betty J.
