- Description
- Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to acquire Spacer Rings through the use of long-term contracts awarded against solicitation SP0412-04-R-4068. This solicitation is comprised of 72 NSNs with similar manufacturing processes. It is anticipated that split awards will be made against this solicitation. The resultant contracts will be Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The contracts will have a twenty four month base period and three twelve-month option periods for total maximum period of performance of 5 years if all options are exercised. The NSNs in this solicitation all fall under FSC 5365. Once released (see opening date below) the solicitation will be found at http://www2.dscr.dla.mil/externalweb/userweb/kd and on the procurement gateway. There are drawings associated with some of the NSNs covered by this acquisition. In order to obtain access to drawings, offerors must be registered on the DSCR Technical Data Management Division website. It is suggested that vendors who are not already registered access the following web-site to register prior to release of the solicitation http://www.dscr.dla.mil/tdmd/mb_index.asp. The solicitation will open on 07 June 2004 and close on 19 July 2004. Documents will not be available until the solicitation opening date.
