Description

Third posting of synopsis. Reason for amendment is to change Request for Proposal (RFP) reference number from HSCG89-04-R-650001 to RFP HSCG89-04-R-68A004. This acquisition is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for full food services at U.S. Coast Guard Activities San Diego, CA. The period of performance is one base year, beginning 1 October 2004 through 30 September 2005, with four one-year options. Technical proposal will be required. Award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government. The full food services will be acquired under the authority of FAR Part 12, Acquisitions of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Test Programs for Certain Commercial Items. A guided site visit is planned. More definite information concerning the site visit (date/time/points of contact) will be included in the solicitation. This solicitation is an 8(a) competitive setaside. The NAICS Code is 722310. The size standard is $17.5 million. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HSCG89-04-R-68A004. The solicitation will be issued via the electronic Posting System at www.eps.gov on or about 14 May 2004 with a planned closing date of 14 June 2004. Telephone, written and Email requests for the solicitation package will not be accepted. Amendments to the RFP will also be provided on the Internet using the same protocol listed above.
